Our Pastor
Pastor Chris Williams was born and raised in Woodleaf, and is a graduate of West Rowan High School and Fruitland Baptist Bible College. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. Pastor Chris served as Chaplain for the West Rowan High School football team for 5 years, was a member of Cooleemee Civitan club for 2 years, and spent 20 years in ministry at the Piedmont Correctional Institute where he held weekly services and was blessed to have baptized over 600 inmates during that 20 year period. He has pastored Woodleaf Baptist Church for over 30 years. Pastor Chris feels that God has called him to help prepare Christians for the end of times as predicted perfectly in the Holy Bible.
